Ziplines adventures at Monkey Jungle! Constructed by one of Canada's most experienced Zipline Tour builders together with a structural engineer from the United States, it's the only ACCT certified tour on the North Coast. The exhilarating adventure takes you flying across the magnificent valley of the Monkey Jungle estate. Your naturalist guides will show you the way, helping you make the most of the adventure and unlocking the secrets of the region. After only 45 minute drive onboard the safari truck transportation, you will be entering a whole new dimension of entertainment. Our expert Zipline Guides will teach you all you need to know about the ride and the equipment. You will be transferred to the Welcome Center, where a safety briefing will be conducted. From there, you will walk along one of the property roads and garden trails for about 5 minutes, until reaching the first platform, and be ready to face the challenge of "flying" from one platform to another. You will be safely attached with climbing gear to the cables with the longest one being 800 feet long!
Monkey Jungle is home to squirrel and capuchin monkeys. Their home is a tropical jungle with waterfalls, swimming pool and caves. Guests play with, interact with, and feed 14 adult and 7 baby monkeys that swing down from ficus trees in their_ own grotto. They eat only organic fruit and vegetables. They have companions, which include endangered iguanas, a lone mongoose, guinea fowl, peacocks and turkeys. The turkeys have natural security instincts and peck at any snake that has the temerity to wander in. Occasionally, the monkeys will chase the birds but not the iguanas.
